The Great Ideas Matching Grants help nurture the development of innovative ideas within the community. Applicants do not need to be an official 501(c)3. Grants of up to $500 are available and applicants must also raise matching funds from another source.

This opportunity is designed for smaller organizations which rely heavily on volunteers to carry out their work. Every organization must meet the criteria of benefiting the people of Richfield. Whether it is athletics, arts, academics or basic human needs, we want to make it easier for people to participate fully in life in Richfield.

The Great Ideas Matching Grants are designed to encourage grassroots fundraising efforts. The matching will be dollar-for-dollar, up to $500. You can apply before you complete the fundraising. If you do, please include an estimate of how much you think you can raise. Apply at least one month before you need the funds. You can also apply after your fundraising effort is complete. In-kind donations are not counted against the matching funds.

Please review the application for additional grant guidelines.
