2023 Grant Recipients

In 2023, we awarded over $24,500 in grants to fifteen organizations doing great work close to home. Thank you to all who applied for a grant and thank you to those who donated to the foundation!


($2,000) Aeon supports the basic need for long-term, stable housing for more than 17,000 residents annually. The funds will be used to improve outdoor community spaces at Seasons Park.


($2,000) Assistance League is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in the Twin Cities. This funding will support basic needs for Richfield students, like school supplies, winter clothes or toiletries.


($2,000) The funds from this grant will support free, one-on-one tutoring to students at Richfield Dual Language School. The money will support teachers and RDLSTAs who are assisting as tutors.


($1,500) Children’s Dental Service provides dental services to low-income families in Richfield. The funding will be used to expand comprehensive dental services to children and families in our community.


($1,500) Crossroads Panorama is a theater group that reaches out to youth and young adults for community building through theater. The funds will support an actor’s award celebration.


($1,500) Loaves and Fishes provides healthy meals to Minnesotans. This funding will support operating costs with meals served at the two community meal sites.


($2,000) The purpose of this project is to create a safe and nurturing environment for youth, focusing on their  emotional and mental well-being. It aims to provide support, understanding, and empowerment to help  young people navigate the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood, ultimately fostering their mental  resilience and well-being.


($1,500) This grant will help purchase winter apparel for public charter school K-7 students and snacks for staff and teacher professional development trainings.


($2,000) People With Capes was created to serve the needs of the people of the City of Richfield. This funding will support the monthly mentorship and community-building meeting called Parent Share that is designed to create a safe place for parents of school-age kids to share, learn, and grow.


($2,000) This grant will support hiring cultural dance performers for Richfield’s Penn Fest, the annual city-wide pedestrian street festival.


($1,000) The funds from this grant will support a collaborative winter clothing drive to benefit students and families from Richfield Public Schools, Partnership Academy, and Seven Hills Preparatory Academy.


($1,000) Meals on Wheels provides nutritious daily meals for 91 Richfield residents. The funds from this grant will support the increase in costs to provide these meals.


($1,000) The funds from this grant will help the Richfield Middle School Band update and diversify their music library by purchasing new music from a variety of modern composers and diverse cultural perspectives.


($2,000) Tapestry provides bilingual childcare, meals, academic support, workshops, and community activities to support local immigrants in accessing resources and referrals. The funds will help continue this work.


($1,500) VEAP  provides a food shelf that serves Richfield  residents. The funding will be used to purchase food and provide basic needs support - such as housing advocacy, financial assistance and transportation
